1. Who is responsible?
The controller is Márió Varga, an agricultural producer in Hungary (őstermelő), trading as Varga Equestrian. Contact address: 5630 Békés, Csabai utca 16/1, Hungary. Email: kmvrga@gmail.com. Telephone: +36 20 276 4693. This notice covers the website at vargalovarda.hu, including access through the earlier gondolatmernok.hu address and enquiries sent through its contact links.
2. Visiting the website
To deliver and protect the website, the hosting and network services may process your IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information and technical security logs. The purpose is reliable delivery, troubleshooting and protection against misuse; the legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
The site uses OpenAI Sites hosting with Cloudflare delivery infrastructure. Images, video files and fonts are served as website assets. The site code includes no visitor analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds, contact forms or customer accounts. The infrastructure may use technical mechanisms necessary for delivery and security.
3. Enquiries and arranging a purchase
When you contact Márió Varga by email, telephone or WhatsApp, he receives the contact details, message, attachments and purchase or appointment information that you provide. These are used to answer you and arrange a viewing, purchase or transport. For steps towards a contract that you request, the basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b); for other enquiries it is the legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence, Article 6(1)(f). Statutory recordkeeping, where applicable, is based on Article 6(1)(c).
Providing details is voluntary, but a reply or requested arrangement may be impossible without the necessary contact information. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry. This website makes no automated decisions about you and performs no profiling.
4. The privacy popup and your saved choice
The acceptance button saves only the notice version and acceptance time in this browser, using the local storage entry varga_privacy_ack. It contains no unique visitor identifier or browsing history, is not sent to the site operator by the website code, and is treated as expired after 180 days. This optional storage is used only to remember the choice you request.
Accepting the notice is an acknowledgment, not a blanket consent to processing personal data or to tracking. Closing the panel or choosing “Continue without saving” creates no saved acknowledgment. You can reopen “Privacy preferences” in the footer and delete the saved choice at any time, or clear the browser’s site data. A different browser or device has its own setting.
5. Customer references
The references section displays photographs and customer-message screenshots from earlier horse sales, supplied from the previous website. These may contain names, profile images, locations or message content. The purpose is to present prior customer experience; the interest in doing so must be balanced against the rights of the people shown (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Where a publication relies on consent, that consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
If a reference identifies you and you object to its publication or want a correction or removal, contact the email above and identify the image or page concerned. A purchase or an enquiry does not itself mean agreement to publication.
6. Providers, external links and international transfers
Hosting and technical service providers receive the data necessary to deliver and protect the website. Email or messaging providers process communications made through their services. Data needed for a requested transport or purchase may be shared with the relevant transport partner or another participant in that arrangement. Authorities may receive information where required by law.
WhatsApp, Facebook and Google Maps are external links, not embedded widgets. Their services load when you follow a link; their own privacy terms then apply. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their notices explain applicable locations and transfer safeguards: OpenAI, Cloudflare, WhatsApp, Facebook and Google.
7. How long data is kept
Enquiry data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and related arrangements, subject to any applicable statutory recordkeeping or legal-claim requirements. Reference material is kept while relevant to its publication purpose and subject to objections or applicable withdrawal of consent. The duration of technical logs is governed by the relevant provider’s service and security policies; no fixed log-retention period is asserted here. The browser acknowledgment expires after 180 days and is removed when next checked by the site.
8. Your rights and complaints
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact kmvrga@gmail.com with your request. A response is normally due within one month; any lawful extension must be explained. Reasonable identity verification may be needed to protect your data.
You may complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority, NAIH: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, Hungary; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu, or to the competent authority in your EU country of residence or work. You may also seek a judicial remedy. For further information, see the European Data Protection Board’s guidance on individual rights.
